The Jewish Community Center will present its ninth annual Senior Expo: Looking Forward 8:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Tuesday, offering several programs geared toward our golden-aged neighbors.

Professionals will present lectures about insurance, retirement and health services. Dave Lieber, the “watchdog” journalist at the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, will explain how to protect yourself from fraud. I can tell you it won’t be boring, having attended Lieber’s journalism workshops in the past. He can make any topic interesting and funny (i.e. his video resume). The first 200 people to arrive will receive a free lunch.

There’s also a marketplace, where you’ll find more than 60 vendors presenting arts and crafts, jewelry and health products. Admission to the expo is free, and you don’t have to be age 65 or older. There’s a wealth of information for those caring for aging parents and friends.
