And it’s not the first time. Neighbors have often seen these predatory cats emerge from wooden areas, but they seem to be docile.
Most recently, the bobcats have been spotted on Lavendale, near Azalea and Pebbledowne and near the Forest and Central area. It might be a scary sight at first but basically, if you don’t bother them, they won’t bother you. Just keep an eye on your pups and kittens. According to an email from the Hillcrest East Crime Watch, some residents in Park Central have seen their small pets disappear recently.
And if you do see one roaming around the neighborhood, (safely) snap a picture and send it to the Advocate. We want to see one of these wild animals in action.
