Earlier this year, E.D. Walker Middle School received a $5,000 grant from Lowe’s Charitable and Education Foundation to help fund the Walker Educational Environmental Design Garden. Now, the school invites students, parents, teachers and community members to come help plant it.

The group will meet 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday at the school.The garden will serve as a hands-on, outdoor classroom for students.
