Last week, the Hillcrest Debate Team attended the Dallas Urban Debate Alliance City Champs Tournament, and two students advanced to the finals. Andrew Flores and Carlos Ramirez will represent DISD at the tournament for the National Association of of Urban Debate Leagues this April in New York City.
Not only did Andrew and Carlos qualify for the national tournament, but they won first place with a 2-1 decision. Congratulations to these Hillcrest debaters.
