Hillcrest High School competed in the District 12A UIL Tournament over the weekend, and several students placed in the top 3 spots in their contests. The results are:

Lily Stafford: 3rd in Editorial Writing, 2nd in Feature Writing
Becca Bielamowicz: 3rd in Feature Writing, 3rd in Headline Writing
Maddie Allman: 1st in Literary Criticism, 2nd in Ready Writing
Sarah Fife: 3rd in Mathematics
Andrew Flores: 2nd in Persuasive Speaking
Anthony Gallo: 3rd in Prose Interpretation
Andrew Gleboff: 2nd in Social Studies
Jasmyn Miller: 2nd in Spelling and Vocabulary
