Willy Flores, math teacher at Hillcrest High School, was one of seven Dallas ISD instructors to receive at $10,000 award from the Texas Instruments Foundation for innovations in the areas of science, technology, engineering and math (STEM).
Half of the money will go directly back into Flores’ classroom, professional development or instructional technology while the other half goes to Flores himself.
