The North Dallas Chamber of Commerce board of directors has appointed Bruce Bradford as interim president while Steve Taylor remains in critical condition after suffering a stroke while driving.

Bradford most recently served as a regional CEO with Sterling Bank, having been in the banking industry for 25 years. He previously served on the Chamber’s executive committee and also held leadership roles with nonprofits.

The chamber released this statement:

“Mr. Bradford will be the voice of the NDCC during this difficult time, and assume the leadership duties related to overseeing chamber programs, new member generation, and continuation of active Board of Directors communication. In addition, he will lead the staff of the NDCC and continue NDCC’s strong government affairs presence in the Dallas area.”
