The Cultured Cup, that lovely tea shop in the Plaza at Preston Center that we’ve featured in the magazine, is closing its doors July 16 and transitioning to a virtual storefront via its website. There, you’ll still find an array of teas, drinking chocolate and coffees from around the globe.
Now, owners Kyle Stewart and Phil Krampetz will host special sales leading up to the closing. Stop by this Saturday, June 25, July 2 and July 9 for free iced tea and appetizers and their popular Mo-Tea-To cocktails.
I have to say, I’m sad to see the storefront close because they had so many great tastings and events there. I learned so much every time I visited. I guess I’ll have to order my Chocolate Caramel Turtles online.
