In case you missed it on our blog last month, the groundbreaking ceremony for the Northaven Trail is set for 10:30 a.m. this Saturday at Dealey Park.
The hike-and-bike trail has been a long time coming, with the Friends of the Northaven Trail forming long before construction plans were even laid out. The first phase of the trail will run along Northaven to Royal and will eventually extend all the way to Denton Drive.
We reported on the plans last September, addressing concerns of neighbors who live along the trail.
