Medical City Hospital and the Spirit of Women will host a free event to help educate women about the risk factors of cancer and prevention. The program runs 7-9 p.m. Thursday in the first floor classroom area.
Gynecologic oncologist Dr. Thomas Heffernan, and Keri Riggs, LPC, a women’s emotional well-being expert will lead the discussion, “Are You Baffled by Cancer?”, outlining the steps that women and their families can take.
The event is free but advanced registration is required.
