09.10-09.23 JEWISH FILM FESTIVAL $10-$15 Witness the Jewish experience on screen during the Jewish Community Center’s 15th annual Jewish Film Festival, which features nine different movies at various theaters. Catch “The Matchmaker” at 7 p.m. Sept. 13 at Studio Movie Grill on Royal Lane. The dramedy takes place in 1968 northern Israel where a teenage boy begins working for a mysterious matchmaker who helps people with special needs find love. The film was nominated for seven Israeli Academy Awards. Other festival selections include comedies, a documentary and a political drama.
