The Arts District Chorale will host a free concert for the public at 7 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 11 at St. Michael and All Angels Episcopal Church. The event, “9/11: Remembrance and Reconciliation” will honor the lives lost during the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, 2001.

Three representatives from the faith community will speak:  The Rev. Robert Dannals, rector of Saint Michael and All Angels Episcopal Church; Imam Dr. Yusuf Kavakci, spiritual leader of the Islamic Association of North Texas and the Dallas Central Mosque; and Rabbi Debra Robbins, associate rabbi of Temple Emanu-El.

The program features works by composers Aaron Copland, Samuel Barber, David Conte and Ralph Vaughan Williams. A reception will follow the concert in St. Michael’s garden.

Donations will be accepted for the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement.
