A scaled-down version of what the giant sculpture will look like.

After her time on HGTV’s “Design Star” ended, Preston Hollow resident Leslie Ezelle, also a breast cancer survivor, quickly got to work on her next big project: a 14×13-foot metal sculpture to help empower women who have battled breast cancer.

She’ll debut the sculpture, which she designed and commissioned George Tobolowsky to create, during an event 5-7 p.m. Saturday in the West Village and “pink” the whole area. That’s just the first stop for this traveling symbol for women’s health.

The sculpture depicts a strappy bra and will hang from trees. Ezelle has adopted the slogan, “You can’t strap a good woman down”.

Keep an eye out for the October issue of the Preston Hollow Advocate to learn more about Ezelle’s story.
