Retail Plazas Inc. bought the property at the southwest corner of Walnut Hill and Central Expressway known as Lakeside Village from Henry S. Miller.

The shopping center was originally developed in 1986 by Property Company of America and has been developed by Henry S. Miller for the past 12 years to include a myriad of shops.

“It’s a great property,” says broker Vaughn Miller who heads Henry S. Miller’s retail division. “We were able to attract great tenants like Performance Bicycles, Ironstone Bank and PPG paints.”

There’s also a liquor store, a Subway and a La Paloma Taqueria.

The property sits adjacent to the 42-acre Walnut Park, the potential development previously known as the Glen at Preston Hollow. It went bankrupt a year ago and then was purchased by a billionaire investor last November.
