The groundbreaking ceremony happened in mid-July, but there’s still no movement on the future home of the Northaven Trail.
“We’re caught up in our own bureaucracy,” says Distrct 11 park board member Lee Kleinman. The city permit process is taking about as long as expected – which is too long.
In the meantime, the Friends of the Northaven Trail are remaining active with plans for another Clean Up the Trail Day 8:30 a.m.-noon Saturday, Sept. 10 at Dealey Park.
