Last week to support Make-a-Wish at Smashing Times

Our December cover story highlighted some ways that you can knock out your holiday gift shopping while supporting great causes. Smashing Times at Preston and Royal donates 10 percent of its sales to the Make-a-Wish Foundation of North Texas, but the campaign only lasts through Dec. 11.

Smashing Times is a walk-in mosaic studio where creating unique gifts is an experience itself. You can choose from a practically limitless supply of tiles, glass pieces, ceramics, etc. to make items big and small. Fun fact: Smashing Times made the mosaic Pegasus statue that greets visitors to the Preston Royal Shopping Center.
