At 6723 Forest Lane sits the family estate of C.E. Doolin, founder of the Frito Company. The land has now been sold to Henry S. Miller Company, which plans to develop the 3.6 acres into a new gated community. It will be called “Iris Hollow,” for all the irises that have distinguished the site.

The estate will include eight expansive lots for one- and two-story luxury custom homes on more than 16,000 square-foot sites. The homes will be architecturally controlled to maintain a consistent feel throughout the neighborhood. They are expected to be priced at around $1.3-$1.5 million.
