Norwood Flynn Gallery opens two exhibits Saturday, Pearlicious by Sunny Jacquet and Feathers by Shari Hornish. There’s an artists’ reception 6-8 p.m. Admission is free. The exhibit runs through Sept. 8.
The Meadows Museum exhibit, Modern Mexican Painting, from the Andrés Blaisten Collection ends Sunday. It features 80 of the world’s finest modern Mexican art, so see it before it’s too late. The Dallas String Quartet will perform a free concert 3-6 p.m. Saturday in NorthCourt at NorthPark Center. The ensemble will be on Level One between Nordstrom and Macy’s.
