There is an answer for those who crave organic and locally grown products that please the palate with the changing of the seasons.

True Food Kitchen, a 5,915 square-foot restaurant with a reputation for its healthy dishes, will be the first new retail tenant in the 5-story mixed-use building at The Plaza at Preston Center the first quarter of 2013.

As the seventh location in the U.S., the restaurant was started by best-selling author Dr. Andrew Weil and James Beard Award-nominated Sam Fox of Phoenix-based Fox Restaurant Concepts. The meals at the restaurant will be based on Weil’s Anti-inflammatory Diet and Food Pyramid.

Fox Restaurant Concepts also owns Zinburger Wine & Burger Bar, The Greene House, The Arrogant Butcher, Blanco Tacos & Tequila, Olive & Ivy, Wildflower American Cuisine, Modern Steak, Culinary Dropout, Sauce Pizza & Wine, and NoRTH Modern Italian Cuisine.
