As one of the judges for W.T. White’s Homecoming Parade Sept. 27 I can’t tell you what teams won, but I must say that it was pretty evident all the students took the parade seriously. About 1,500 people participated in the hour-long event that had 44 entries. There was music, dancing, shouting, giggling and all out entertaining. The food truck parade that followed was the perfect way to the end the night. Among the cupcakes, Belgium waffles and more, I unhealthily decided to grub on a mac-n-cheese brisket slider.
