Every time I write a blog post about LBJ closures I want to simply write to avoid LBJ altogether, but that’s not so easy for most.

Each day when I drive home from work I get stuck on the same bridge that gives me a perfect view of traffic backed up for miles and I know that even though I’m only four miles from my exit it will inevitably take 30 minutes or so. So I’ll continue to post these updates as I get them with the hope that it may help some decide on whether it’s worth it to sit in traffic or stop and go on the streets.

– Beginning 8 p.m. Nov. 15 the eastbound entrance ramp from Preston will be closed for about one month, but Hillcrest’s will be open.

– Beginning 8 p.m. Nov. 16 the eastbound entrance ramp from Webb Chapel will be closed long-term, but the frontage road between Webb and Marsh will be open.

I’ll have more updates as I get them. In the meantime find some good tunes or get one of those self-help audio books or whatnot.
