The Dallas Police Northwest Division host a training session for Volunteers in Patrol (VIP) Saturday, Dec. 1 from 9 a.m.-noon. VIP members commit two hours per month to drive around the neighborhood and report any signs of crime or potential crime spots.
Glen Meadow Estates says it is in “desperate need of volunteers” as its number has decreased about 50 percent in the last several years.
