A week ago today (Dec. 21), Lee Kleinman, a former District 11 Dallas Park Board member resigned from his position after serving since 2007.
Kleinman resigned because he intends to run for District 11 Councilwoman Linda Koop’s position after her term expires January 2013.
Though he has yet to make an official announcement, which he says he cannot do until he files with the City Secretary in the February to March period, he is the first person to express interest in Councilwoman Koop’s seat.
