The Whole Foods at 8190 Park Lane hosts a free 28-day healthy eating challenge orientation Thursday, Jan. 10 from 6:30-8 p.m. in the conference room. Healthy eating guide John Mercer will give you a preview of what to expect in the 28-day challenge, which starts Jan. 14, and show you how to shop healthy. Hop on over to the Whole Foods at 11700 Preston near Forest, starting with a 14-day “blast off” dinner and movie Thursday, Jan. 10 from 6:30-9:30 p.m. in the upstairs classroom. Healthy eating specialist Lauren Sommer will introduce the two-week healthy eating challenge and the documentary “Forks Over Knives” will be screened with a healthy Italian dinner.
