Our photo editor Can Türkyilmaz has a little fun talking about this photo he shot of a bride on the other end of a cash breeze.

“On this day in 1789, 69 members of Congress cast their ballots to elect George Washington. In 1869, the dollar bill was redesigned with a portrait of him, seven years after its first appearance. Ever since, George Washington has become the ‘I’ve-been-everywhere-man,'” Türkyilmaz jokes.

“Dollars have been washed in jeans pockets, laid under pillows in exchange for teeth, called the dirtiest object in the world and toppled tip jars. Here, a few of them are showering a bride whose wedding I photographed last year. It is said that money never brings happiness. The bride begs to differ,” he says.
