Medical City Dallas Hospital and Medical City Children’s Hospital will undergo a $114 million expansion to add four floors to one of its towers and expand another floor as a part of a massive update, reports the Dallas Business Journal.

The increasing demand for critical care, oncology, transplant, and surgical and emergency services is the reason behind the expansion, the Dallas Business Journal reports.

The Medical Center of Plano will also undergo a $66 million dollar expansion to add two floors to the north patient tower and 68 new patient beds for neuroscience services, reports Bill Hethcock.
