Ever wonder what’s inside the mind of the founder of Whole Foods Market? Well Tuesday, Feb. 19 you’ll have the opportunity to meet John Mackey, co-CEO of Whole Foods, and Kip Tindell, CEO of The Container Store.
The CEOs will discuss thinking about the higher purpose of a business, its relationships with stakeholders and the impact it has on the world. Audience participation is encouraged and the discussion will last from 5-6 p.m.
Following the discussion Mackey will sign the book he co-authored, ‘Conscious Capitalism: Liberating the Heroic Spirit of Business.’ Books will also be sold at the event, and its profits will go to the Whole Planet Foundation, which aims to end poverty in developing coutnries by providing them with small loans in return for products.
