Joe’s Creek Clean up team will meet 8:30 a.m. at the tables between the baseball field and tennis court at Northaven Park for It’s “My Park Day” March 2. They are bribing volunteers with coffee and doughnuts to help clean up Joe’s Creek as a part of a citywide park clean-up event. To volunteer click here.
North Haven Gardens will give out coupons to the first 50 people who walk in for free bags of Vital Earth ready rose mix or Nature’s Guide root simulator as a part of their Spring Rose Festival starting 7 a.m. March 2 and 8 a.m March 3. More than 200 varieties of roses will be available at the event. (Now is the time to make up for Valentines Day.)
NorthPark Presbyterian Church will host its annual garage sale 8:30 a.m-4:30 p.m. March 2. At the event you’ll find furniture, electronics, linens, clothes, jewelry and other household items and office supplies. Money will go toward NorthPark’s Youth and summer mission trips. A $10 early entry starts at 7:30 a.m. if you want to be first to gander at the goodies.
