• Dunia Borga of La Duni will be one of the featured chefs at the annual Raiser Grazer Les Dames d’Escoffier fundraiser from 5-8 p.m. March 3 at Union Station. This year’s event will showcase local purveyors of fruits, vegetables, meat, cheese and other artisanal dairy products. Tickets are $65 per person.
• Celebration will mark its 42nd birthday from March 3 to March 5 by selling its meat loaf and rosemary chicken dinners for $6.95 — the price when the restaurant opened.
• Wine of the week: Dry Creek Dry Chenin Blanc 2011 ($10) is an example of what can be done when a winemaker takes chenin blanc seriously — lots of white fruit aromas, a little lemon peel fruit, and a sort of slate-like, fruit pit finish. Available at Spec’s.
