DISD Prep University’s Family Workshop Series hosts a 6:30–7:30 p.m. workshop at Thomas Jefferson on “Teaching Your Child to Respect Differences” March 7.

Southwest Gallery will host the first solo showing of artist Don Sahli’s works. Sahli has a background in the Russian School of Painting, which he learned from famous Russian colorist Sergei Bongart as his last apprentice. The opening reception is 1–5 p.m. March 9.
