Wine and dine: La Duni, Central Market, Pacific Rim

sparklingwinethumbLa Duni and Bread Winners will hold a wine tasting at NorthPark from 6-8 p.m. on March 21. Cost is $15 ($18 at the door), and registration begins at 5:30 p.m.

Central Market will highlight Brazil as part of its Passport series, beginning April 24. The event will include Brazilian food and wine and cooking classes from some of the country’s top chefs.

• Wine of the week: Pacific Rim Dry Riesling ($10) is a touch sweet, which is true of most dry rieslings, but the sweetness is balanced by some zingy lime fruit, a floral hint, and a little riesling oiliness. Widely available.
