Preston Hollow artist David Schulze believes in giving back to his supporters.

For the five to six years Schulze has participated in the North Dallas Artist Studio Tour, he has given his friends and supporters an advance view of his newest work. Although this reception at his studio, occurring the night before the tour, is still an intimate affair, this year Schulze expanded the amount of invites he gave for the event.

As he put it, he “cast the net a little bit broader.” He believes this preview is beneficial to not only him but to all of the people that will be in attendance.

“I can talk to people about my work more intimately,” said Schulze.

Invited attendees will see his work for free and meet some of the other artists of the 10th annual North Dallas Artist Studio Tour.

For those not attending the preview, check out Schulze’s and other artists’ work either 10 a.m.–5 p.m. April 27, or 1–5 p.m. April 28 at the North Dallas Artist Studio Tour. This event is open to the public and will feature 31 artists in 19 studios from North Dallas. The studio tour is also free.
