Watch indie/folk band Air Review followed by a special garden screening of “Life of Pi,” for “‘Til midnight at the Nasher,” 6 p.m.–midnight May 17. The event also features picnic dining and snacks by Nasher Cafe by Wolfgang Puck.

Learn to grill seafood from TJ’s Fresh Seafood Market chefs 2 p.m. May 18. The free event is at the Oak Lawn location, but they’ll do another one at a later date at Preston Forest.

Join the 26th annual Jewish Community Center’s Bagel Run 7:45 a.m. May 19. You’ll warm up by doing the JCC Harlem Shake, then partake in 8 a.m. 5k race, or a 8:15 a.m. 10K race. They’ll even have a “KidsK race,” but there are other activities for children who don’t want to participate. Following the race you can partake in a bagel buffet, awards ceremony, and “aches and pain clinic” 9 a.m.–10:45 a.m. Runners will use a portion of the Northaven Trail for the 10K, which the Friends of the Northaven Trail (also race sponsors), are very excited about.
