Chef Chef John Tesar will host a five-course wine dinner at Spoon Bar & Kitchen with Merriman Wines and seafood from around the world.

The 6 p.m. event is June 12 and will run you a $100 per person. The menu is below:

First course
Cuttlefish crudo, hearts of palm, jalapeno and pink peppercorns paired with “Brasher Block Vineyard” Old Vine chenin blanc.

Second course
Potato gnocchi, Maryland blue crab and black truffle emulsion paired with Rosé of pinot noir.

Third course
Maya prawn, kimchee pancake, kimchee butter, shrimp coral and baby radish paired with “Cummins Road” pinot noir.

Fourth Course
Swordfish “steak”, wild mushroom crust and red wine squid ink sauce paired with “Merriman Estate” pinot noir.

The dessert has yet to be announced, but I’m sure it’ll be something fancy without fish.
