Mike and Nacy Killough of Preston Hollow will host their annual parade and fireworks celebration for the Fourth of July. The parade featuring bikes, trikes, strollers and cars kicks off at 9 a.m. on the 6000 block of Prestonshire. Decorations are available for your wheels and pets —and drinks, pastries and prizes for participants.

Metro PCS’ Fair Park Fourth features the City’s largest fireworks display for its official Independence Day Celebration. The celebration features a performance by the Dallas Wind Symphony, Quiver, Havana NRG and Motion. The Cotton Bowl festivities start at 4:30 p.m. and are free on a first-come first-serve basis. Festivities last until 11:30 p.m.

Lone Star Park hosts its annual Lone Stars & Stripes Fireworks Celebration July3-4. The evening starts with a 5 p.m. thoroughbred racing and family activities such as pony rides, a petting zoo, bounce houses and games. The 20-minute fireworks display will follow with live music. General admission is $5.
