Dallas Theater Center presents “Fly,” a new musical based on J.M. Barrie’s “Peter Pan.” The musical is the result of Tony Award-winning producer Jeffrey Seller re-creating one of his childhood favorites. Catch performances at the Wyly Theatre in the AT&T Performing Arts Center 8 p.m. July 6 and 7 p.m. July 7. The show will run until August 18.

The Dallas Holocaust Museum will feature the art exhibit “Reaching out from Within: Stories of perseverance though art” by international award-winning painter, sculptor and filmmaker Rita Blitt. Blitt’s 13 sculptures and paintings will be on display until 5 p.m. Monday through Sunday until August 25.

The 33nd annual Basically Beethoven Festival will kick off at 2:30 p.m. July 7 with a free concert featuring young tenor Nicholas Garza and pianist Andrew Packard. The 11 members of Imperial Brass will play Beethoven, Bernstein, John Williams and John Philip Sous at 3 p.m. The performances take place the next four Sunday afternoons at Dallas City Performance Hall.
