St. Bernard Sports opens outlet in Shops at Park Lane

st-bernard-sportsSt. Bernard Sports, the popular skiwear and clothing shop, is opening a discount outlet at The Shops at Park Lane in November. Until the big new store is ready, they’ve opened a temporary space between Evol and Gordon Biersch, and they’ve everything moved over from their former outlet location at Stemmons and Commonwealth.

The main Inwood Village store, which features sporting good brands like North Face and Patagonia, also carries trendy fashions for women. Their preppy clothes for men are a big draw for collegiate males, keeping brands like Vineyard Vines and Southern Tide flying off the shelves. They also carry shoes, (think Reef, Bernardo, UGGs and more) and they have ski accessories like hats, gloves and eyewear.

When I shopped at the outlet yesterday, I found most items priced at 50% , but many summery fashions were reduced by 75-90%. The concrete-floor store is bare-bones, but it’s clean and organized, and at those prices, you aren’t likely to care.

If you venture in, mention their Facebook page and they’ll give you $10 off the top of your first purchase. The new store will be nestled between the outlets for Saks and Nordstrom.
