Birddog & Catfish: A Craft Menagerie

On Sept. 6, Eclectic Galleries hosts a special auction and raffle with prizes to kick off Birddog & Catfish: A Craft Menagerie. All auction and raffle proceeds benefit Operation Kindness, the oldest and largest no-kill pet shelter in North Texas. Plus, a portion of the sales of handcrafted, animal-themed art sold through Sept. 28 will be donated to Operation Kindness.

‘Inside and Out’

Norwood Flynn Gallery’s newest exhibit displays art by Oak Cliff artist Ray-Mel Cornelius. The exhibit opens with an artist’s reception from 6-8 p.m. Sept. 14 and runs through Oct. 5. Cornelius’ paintings explore what he has seen while encountering nature and what he has tried to bring home and live with in an attempt to re-create that experience.
