Michelle Kleinman for Beck Ventures: Dallas Midtown

In our October issue we cover some of the most recent developments around Preston Hollow. Since going to print, Advocate received an email from our District 11 Councilman, Lee Kleinman:

This month’s issue has a picture of the iconic tower for MidTown that is shown on the corner of 635 and Preston. It might interest you to know that that was designed by a young Preston Hollow resident, Michelle Kleinman. My daughter Michelle graduated from Greenhill in 2005 and after earning her Bachelors Degree from Emory, she moved to New York and is working on a Master of Architecture degree at Columbia’s Graduate School of Architecture and Planning.

Scott Beck asked her to do the design because he likes to encourage young and innovative work.

Pretty impressive stuff — even if the “iconic” tower won’t be in the works for awhile as the long term project will just be beginning it’s first phase next year.Â
