Local resident Faye Briggs will host the Westapher auction party and dinner at her Preston Hollow home this Sunday from 6-9 p.m.
Guests will get to tour the estate, mingle with Dallas notables and bid on coveted auction items. CBS sports anchor Gina Miller is scheduled as the auction emcee.
All proceeds will benefit the Nexus Recovery Center, a nonprofit based in East Dallas that offers substance abuse recovery services for women.
Briggs is a dedicated member of the Nexus Women’s Auxiliary, which works to raise funds that benefit women at the Nexus Recovery Center.
“I am involved with Nexus Recovery Center because it gives women, children and families, with no income or low income, a chance to recover from a hopeless state of mind and body,” says event co-chair Laurie Sutherlin.
