“Shatter 15,” acrylic/glass on paper: Jessica McCambly art to be featured in “Between Oak & Muberry”

From 1-3 p.m. on Friday, bring your own knitting projects to the Preston Royal Purls Knitting Social at the Preston Royal Library. Meet fellow crafters or learn how to knit for the first time. Beginners receive free needles and yarn.

Beginning at 8 p.m. Friday night, guitarist and singer-songwriter Willy Porter will showcase his strumming prowess on Uncle Calvin’s stage. Porter boasts an extensive performing background, including touring with Tori Amos and Jeff Beck.
