The sixth annual Patriot Cup lacrosse tournament, the largest lacrosse tournament in Texas, returns to Dallas this weekend. The tournament begins Friday at 7 p.m., and will continue through the weekend with games on Saturday and Sunday at SMU’s Ford Stadium. This year’s event benefits the Wounded Warrior Project. Celebrate the 50th anniversary of St. Rita School by participating in a one-mile fun run at 9:15 a.m. or a 5K at 9:45 a.m this Saturday at St. Rita School. After the run, bring the family to the carnival from noon to 8 p.m. Kids can visit the petting zoo and soar on zip lines, and grown-ups can visit the beer garden or the photo booth.
