Beyond its creative burgers with curious names (such as Magic Shroom and El Diablo), Hopdoddy Burger Bar is one of the best neighborhood spots to indulge in the sweet stuff. And the milkshakes — both the regular and “adult” versions — are just as varied.
The menu includes milkshakes like the chocolate stout, caramel and sea salt, and Nutella and chocolate pretzel. There’s also an extensive cocktail menu.
Right now, the high-end burger joint is running an off-the-menu special: the tiramisu milkshake which, according to the Facebook page, includes espresso syrup, ladyfinger cookies, vanilla ice cream, whipped cream, chocolate shavings, and crisp ladyfingers.
It’s no wonder that, on a Saturday afternoon, the line to get into the Preston Center restaurant wraps around the building. (We reviewed Hopdoddy back in the fall of 2012.)
