Prepare for detours if you are driving on the Dallas North Tollway or 635 on Monday, March 24. (Though it shouldn’t be nearly as bad as Tuesday’s traffic fiasco on LBJ.) The LBJ Express Blog says that from 8 p.m. on Monday until 6 a.m. on Tuesday, March 25, the following ramps will be closed:
- The ramp from northbound DNT to eastbound 635
- The ramp from southbound DNT to eastbound 635
- The eastbound on-ramp from Inwood
- The eastbound off-ramp to Preston
At that time, eastbound 635 between Dallas North Tollway and Preston will also be reduced to one lane. Once the roads are re-opened on Tuesday, the eastbound 635 lanes between the Dallas North Tollway and Preston will be in their “permanent, final configuration.” Fingers crossed that means less construction delays for those ramps for the time being, at least.
