Aggravated Robbery

  • At 11:30 a.m. on May 2, a woman entering her vehicle parked in an apartment complex carport at Walnut Hill and Marsh was robbed at gunpoint. The suspect wrapped a gray bandana around the weapon and stated, “Give me everything you’ve got, I’m not [expletive] around.” The suspect was last seen fleeing the seen wearing blue jeans, a white and blue flannel long-sleeved shirt, and a ball cap with a white bandana covering his face. The $18,000 black Mercedes Benz, along with $300 worth of personal property, was stolen. The investigation is ongoing.
  • A young woman was robbed at gunpoint at an apartment complex located near Steppington and Riverfall on April 30 at 12:30 a.m.

 

Burglary of a Business

An unknown suspect stole a vase valued at more than $1,300 from the Zhen Music and Art Institute between 5:30 p.m. on May 3 and 4:30 p.m. on May 4.

Theft

More than $1700 of personal property, including sunglasses, an iPad, and a laptop, was stolen from a guest staying at Hilton Dallas Lincoln Centre between on 3:30 p.m. April 30 and 5:45 a.m. on May 1. A hotel pass key, which is possessed by all hotel staff members, was used to access the room during that time.

Criminal Mischief

An unknown suspect used an unknown tool to cut a circle with a 5-inch diameter into the bay window of an apartment located on Preston and Northwest Highway between 8 p.m. May 3 and 9 a.m. on May 4; no additional property was damaged or stolen.
