A few neighborhood activities to check out this weekend:
- Start your weekend early by attending a wine and cheese tasting featuring three varieties of feta cheese and Greek white wines. Scardello will host the event at Ziziki’s on Preston and Forest June 4 at 6:30 p.m. Cost is $15 per person plus tax and gratuity; RSVP to 469.232.9922.
- The Shops at Park Lane’s free outdoor summer movie series Movies Under the Moon kicks off with a screening of Disney’s Frozen Friday at 8:30 p.m.
- For even more family fun visit the Preston Royal Library on Saturday from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. for the free kickoff party of the Mayor’s Summer Reading Club. Activities include carnival games, music and crafts. The Park Forest Library hosts a repeat of the event later that day from 2-4 p.m.
