We’ve been eagerly anticipating the arrival Trader Joe’s to Inwood Village but now the wait is over. As of last Friday, the store has finally opened for business.

This is the second Trader Joe’s to hit the Dallas market. The first store opened last summer on Lower Greenville, and two more are slated to open in the coming months: one later this year in the still-under-construction Preston Hollow Village development, and as of yesterday, Trader Joe’s spokeswoman Alison Mochizuki confirmed that the grocery store will open yet another location near Cole and Knox in Highland Park

If you’ve been making the journey over to East Dallas to get your “TJ’s” fix, know that the layout of the Inwood store — with the exception of having only one corner entrance rather than Greenville’s separate parking lot and street entrances — is basically the same.

Oh, and if you happen to look up while you’re filling up your shopping cart, there’s a bunch of cool artwork highlighting some of the neighborhood fixtures, including the Frontiers of Flight Museum, Inwood Theatre, and Highland Park High School. Plus a whole lot of Texas-themed kitsch.

Check out some shots of the interior below:
