Still no vote on the proposed Preston Center high-rise known Highland House. The re-zoning case saw yet another delay at the City Plan Commission Thursday but, this time, from the developers themselves. According to the Dallas Morning News, Crosland Group asked the hearing to be put off, “in anticipation of a plan that’s being put together to study land use in Preston Center.”
The owners of NorthPark Center sold a 60 percent stake for $363 million to J.P. Morgan Asset Management Strategic Property Fund of New York, the Morning News reports. This could mean that big changes are in store for the shopping mall, which turns 50 years old next year.
