Medical City Hospital will be one of the first facilities in Texas to use the newest model of the daVinci surgical system on patients, according to CultureMap Dallas. The robotic technology is controlled by a trained surgeon into precise movements inside the patient. According to the article, Medical City has utilized robot-assisted surgeries since 2010.

“Occupy, Texas,” a film about a Wall Street Occupy protester “forced from his tent in Zuccotti Park to upper-middle class Texas,” is currently in production in our neighborhood. GuideLive reports that principal photography for the film will occur in Preston Hollow. In fact, the first scene shot in Dallas features Turner in lawyer Steve Stodghill’s mansion near Strait Lane where he lives with his wife, Anne.

Some local BBVA clients will soon be able to taste food prepared by the best restaurant in the world, without even leaving Preston Hollow, according to Eater Dallas. Early next month, the Rachofsky House (pictured above) will host a private meal prepared by staff and founder’s of Spain’s El Celler de Can Roca, named the second best restaurant in the world.
