Bradley Laye, new CEO of the Jewish Federation of Greater Dallas

The Jewish Federation of Greater Dallas, the Preston Hollow-based agency that coordinates philanthropy and care for Jewish people in Dallas, Israel and elsewhere, announced its new president and CEO this week, Bradley Laye.

Laye had been serving as interim president since July 2013 and, after an “exhaustive search process,” the Federation officially appointed him to the position. More than 120 leaders and donors helped develop the candidate profile, says Lillian Pinkus, search committee co-chair.

Before landing in Dallas as the Federation’s chief operating officer in October 2010, Laye served as the chief philanthropy officer at the Jewish Federation of Rhode Island and the legacy officer at the Atlanta chapter. He began his nonprofit management career as the CEO of Hillel of Broward and Palm Beach.

“I am honored and humbled to take on this role permanently as we continue to grow our community and Federation locally while taking care of those in need here in Dallas, in Israel and around the world,” he says via a press release. “Our professional team is strong and motivated as is our lay leadership—everyone is ready and excited.”
